ABOUT THE SPEAKER
Dr. Vickie Swarowski has been practicing veterinary medicine since 2008 and has a special interest in canine breeding practices, reproductive health and working alongside responsible breeders.
For more than 20 years, Dr. Vickie has been actively involved in breeding, working and showing dogs. Her experience includes working with several breeds, including Brussels Griffons, Russell Terrier, Lowchen, Briards and Pugs.
Her firsthand experience in the breeding and show world gives her an understanding of the questions, challenges and decisions breeders face throughout the lives of their dogs. She has a special interest in canine reproductive health, responsible breeding practices, preventative care, health testing and helping breeders make informed decisions for their breeding programs.
Dr. Swarowski enjoys developing lasting relationships with breeders and helping them navigate the many health decisions involved in a successful breeding program. Her approach combines veterinary knowledge with practical guidance that breeders can apply to their own dogs and breeding programs.
Her special areas of interest include reproductive health, PennHIP evaluations, preventative care, soft tissue surgery, and breeder support.
